Today was the first day of a weeklong ski camp in
Schladming! Today we didn’t do any skiing, but instead got acquainted with our
lodging and see each other again! We haven’t seen each other in almost 3
months- Salzburg back in December was the last time. Anyway, at the Schladming
train station we got to meet some of our newbies, the exchange students who
arrived in Austria from Australia, New Zealand, and South America. I look
forward to getting to know some of them better! We then took a bus to our
hotel, not too far from the many lifts and gondolas. We got our room
assignments. I am actually with just 5 other guys in a separate hotel a little
ways up the road. The accomidations are great. Nice and quiet too. That about
does it for today! I am super excited for the coming days!
