For the
next two weeks I will be at a German language camp in Altmünster. It is a town
very near Saltzburg, so now I am no longer in the very mountainous region of Austria. We exchange students (most of us
from the U.S.) are staying in a boarding school where we eat, sleep, and have our classes. We also have a lot of free time and freedom at this camp so we can often
go into the nearby towns and go swimming in the nearby pools and a beautiful lake. The classes are very useful and I am learning a lot about
grammar and the culture of Austria, despite me already speaking fluent German.
The accent is also something I’m still getting used to. As for the camp, I am
meeting lots of new people and this is a great 2nd week here!
